The day ring can be turned over: midnight at the bottom, daylight in the upper half, the sun moving the way it does in the sky.
- Small text is bold now, and a size larger on the bigger screens
- Good shooting conditions no longer look dimmer than bad ones — the green of the weather row was washing out against the grey on the watch
- More room between the sun and the moon on the Astro screen
- Twilight no longer bleeds into the night gap of the ring
- Settings that a switch makes inert are disabled instead of quietly doing nothing
Tap control can now be switched off.
Listening for taps keeps the accelerometer running around the clock, which roughly doubles the daily discharge. With the setting off the sensor is released and the Clock becomes the only screen, since a tap is the only way to reach the others. The light window alert keeps working either way.
- The watchface could change screens by itself shortly after a vibration: the tap detector read the settling motion that followed its own buzz as a strike.
- A failed weather request could send a second, half-filled packet to the watch.
