Tempest Time is a highly legible, battery-conscious weather watchface designed for Pebble Time 2. Large custom numerals keep the time prominent while current temperature, today's high and low, conditions, steps, battery status, weather freshness, and optional AirNow AQI remain visible at a glance.
Use your own WeatherFlow Tempest station (https://shop.tempest.earth/) for hyperlocal weather, or choose phone-location weather through Open-Meteo while travelling or if you do not own a Tempest. Optional air-quality observations come from the EPA AirNow program (https://airnow.gov/).
Features include WeatherFlow Tempest or current-location weather; current temperature, daily high/low, conditions, and expressive temperature faces; optional EPA AirNow AQI in a high-contrast pill with official category colors; three-day forecast, wind, rain, lightning, and AQI detail pages; Pebble Health steps and a configurable goal; battery icon, percentage, or both; 12/24-hour time; selectable date formats, colors, dividers, black/white day and night backgrounds, refresh intervals, and battery-conscious backlight styling.
A firm accelerometer tap cycles enabled detail pages on standard firmware. Pebble Time 2 firmware supports touchscreen input in watchapps, but rePebble intentionally restricts TouchService from watchfaces. The experimental touchscreen setting is retained for firmware testers and does not provide page control on standard firmware. Tempest and AirNow credentials remain in phone-side watchface storage and are never sent to the watch. Current-location modes request the phone's approximate location only during scheduled refreshes. AirNow observations are preliminary, may change, and are not regulatory data. Data are provided courtesy of the EPA AirNow program and participating agencies.
