# Rat Scout

**A Dexcom CGM watchface for Pebble with weather, astronomy & more.**

## What It Does

Rat Scout puts your Dexcom glucose readings front and center on your Pebble watch, surrounded by useful at-a-glance information:

- **Blood Glucose** — Current reading, delta (rate of change), and minutes since last update. Supports mg/dL and mmol/L. Configurable vibration alerts for high and low thresholds, with optional separate night thresholds and a configurable night time window. Optional polyphonic sound alerts for low and high BG thresholds (Emery speaker only).
- **Weather** — Temperature, wind speed, and an umbrella indicator that lights up when rain or snow is expected today.
- **Astronomy** — Next sunrise/sunset and moonrise/moonset times with a moon phase icon.
- **Daily Info** — Time, date, week number, step count, battery level, and a garbage collection reminder. Optional hourly chime (vibration and/or sound).

## Setup

1. Install the watchface on your Pebble via the Pebble app store.
2. Open Settings and enter your **Dexcom Share** login credentials.
3. *(Optional)* Add API keys for weather ([OpenWeatherMap](https://openweathermap.org/api), free) and astronomy ([ipgeolocation.io](https://ipgeolocation.io/), free).
4. Customize your BG units, alert thresholds, and weather preferences.

## Compatibility

Works on **all Pebble platforms**: Flint and Emery.

Supports **Dexcom US, Outside-US, and Japan** regions.
