The day as 24 blocks, and the last hour of light in red.

Most watchfaces tell you the time. This one also tells you how much daylight is left, at a glance, without reading a number.

The strip along the bottom is your day. Twenty-four blocks, one per hour. Lit blocks are daylight, dark blocks are night, and the block wearing a frame is the hour you're in now. Two small ticks above the strip mark sunrise and sunset to the minute. It takes about a day to learn, and then you stop looking up sunset times.

One block burns a different colour: the hour before sunset. Racing calls the last kilometre the flamme rouge, after the red kite hung over the road. This is the same idea for the last hour of light. When it lights up you know whether you're getting the full loop or the short way home.

The panel on the right is a swatch of the kit's fabric. Every livery has its own weave, not the same pattern in different colours: Zwift's diagonals with a Tron blue pinstripe, Surly's coarse check, Ineos's orange to white drip, La Vie Claire's Mondrian, Mapei's cubes. It's how you tell them apart across a room.

A second time zone that handles daylight saving and follows you when you travel.
Moon phase, drawn as a real pixel disc with the percentage lit.

Built for this screen rather than ported to it. No hands, no hairlines, no charts. At 202 ppi a swept second hand is a staircase and a thin line disappears, so everything here is a filled rectangle with a hard gutter beside it. Pavé, like the cobbles.

Weather and sun times come from Open-Meteo, so there's no account to make and no API key. Moon phase is computed on the watch and needs no connection at all.
