Daily v1.3 makes the quickest things even quicker. Hold Up on your watch face, speak, and you’re done, with no confirm or save presses. Notes flash up for two seconds with a one-press undo. Reminders count down for three seconds and save themselves, and you can nudge the time if you need to. When a reminder buzzes, Done or Snooze sends you straight back to your watch face, and the buttons now have big, bold labels you can read at a glance. Prefer to check before saving? There’s a setting for that too.
What’s new in v1.2
Speak from the watch face: hold Up and just talk. “Add note…” saves a note, “Add reminder…” sets a reminder, and with no keyword it’s a reminder if you say a time, otherwise a note. Then you’re straight back on the watch face. Hold Down opens Daily.
Touch on the Time 2: swipe between cards, tap to open, hold to speak, swipe right to go back. It can be switched off in settings.
Watches: now built for the Pebble Time 2 and Pebble 2 Duo only, on the current PebbleOS SDK. The original Pebble Time and Pebble 2 are no longer supported.
2 Duo fix: a crash on the 2 Duo, caused by the watch giving apps less working memory, was found and fixed.
What changed:
Readability: larger, bold, black text everywhere. Colour is only in the header bars and markers, list rows are bigger, and the button hints are larger.
Opening screen: Daily always opens on Next up. Under the reminder it shows heads-ups only when they apply: rain likely then, another reminder close behind, overdue items, low watch battery, phone not connected.
All clear: when nothing is due, it says “All clear”, with rain later today if there is any.
Today card: reminders and weather first; steps are one smaller line at the bottom.
