This dozenal watch is set up as diurnal, giving the time in the dozenal number base ("base twelve"), dividing the day into successive powers of a dozen. The code includes the four simple changes to make the watch semidiurnal, dividing the day first into halves, like the traditional AM and PM, then dividing each half into successive powers of a dozen.

The calendar uses the format yyyy mm-dd. It converts the numbers of the traditional Western calendar into dozenal.
