Pick a desert from the list and the sand takes its colour: Sahara gold, Namib red, the near-white gypsum of White Sands, or Atacama stone.
### A longer golden hour
The sand holds its warm colour after the sky has turned blue again — about three hours of golden light at each end of the day instead of eighty minutes. It shows best on the pale sands: pink at sunrise, cream through the morning, white by mid-morning.
### A better night sky
Four times as many stars, with the Milky Way crowded into a band low over the dunes. A bright moon washes out the faint ones, as it does in life.
### Wind you can set
Choose how quickly the dunes drift and change shape, from **Calm**, where they barely move over a day, to **Haboob**, a whole new landscape in a couple of hours. They are named after real desert winds. The watchface redraws once a minute to spare the battery, so the desert moves between glances rather than as you watch.
### For the Pebble Time 2
That watch's screen is bluer than the original Pebble Time's, which left the desert looking grey and cold where it should look warm. There is now a **blue tint correction** to warm it back up. It comes set to match an original Pebble Time held beside it, and it is adjustable, because screens vary from watch to watch.
