Large, sharp time shown using individual animated blocks drawn isometrically. Pick theme colours. Every time the minute changes, animates only the blocks that need changing. Digits go grey when BT is disconnected.

NOTE: the animations are on by default, but will use significantly more battery. Turn them off if you don't need them for more battery life.
