Watchface
Description
Kymato is a modern wellness watchface for Pebble Time 2 that turns heart-rate and beat-to-beat timing data into an easy-to-read view of your stress and activity levels. This app is surprisingly accurate. The new updates have optimized battery life substantially. KYMATO (n.)[ Greek: kyma — wave ] The rhythms of your day, right on your wrist. A dedicated Pebble watchface built to track your daily activity, guide your meditation, and help you master the waves of stress. Tap the watch to move through three views: 01 / BLOCK Large time, date, battery, resting-heart-rate baseline, current wellness state, a live six-section movement strip, and a rolling one-hour chart. During sensing, the strip adds a new movement value every five seconds and holds the latest six values during rest. The chart uses 12 wide, rounded bars for timestamped five-minute periods; gray gaps honestly show rejected or unmeasured sessions. 02 / HEART See your current heart rate beside a five-minute average, plus your learned resting rate and current difference from baseline. 03 / FLOW A living wellness mandala built from the latest hour. Stress colors are consistent throughout Kymato: cyan for Zen, green for Calm, olive for Balanced, orange for Stressed, and red for Heavy Stress. Blue represents confirmed physical activity intensity and remains separate from stress. The animation settles after four seconds to preserve battery life. WHAT THE COLORS MEAN Cyan — Zen (score 0–20): the lowest activation relative to your personal baseline. Green — Calm (21–40): a low stress estimate, shown as Resting on the main status. Olive — Balanced (41–60): a moderate estimate, shown as Normal on the main status. Orange — Stressed (61–80): elevated activation relative to your baseline. Red — Heavy Stress (81–100): the highest estimated activation range. Blue — Active: physical activity or significant movement, shown separately and never counted as stress. Gray — No usable stress result: the period was unmeasured or rejected because signal quality, movement, or watch fit did not meet the quality checks. HOW THE SCORE IS CALCULATED Kymato compares each clean two-minute sensing session with your learned resting heart rate and RMSSD baseline. The score starts at 15, adds two points for every beat per minute that heart rate is above baseline, and adds half of the percentage by which RMSSD is below baseline, up to a maximum of 100. Heart rate below baseline and RMSSD above baseline do not reduce the score below 15. A stress result is saved only when the session contains at least 60 accepted beat-to-beat samples, no more than 20% rejected samples, no more than 5% motion, valid heart-rate and RMSSD values, and no detected workout or activity. Movement-heavy sessions are recorded in blue as activity instead. Other sessions remain gray and may show Check Fit rather than guessing a stress value. Kymato learns a personal resting baseline from clean, low-motion sessions. It distinguishes physical activity and poor sensor contact from resting measurements and reports states including Zen, Resting, Normal, Stressed, Heavy Stress, Active, and Check Fit. Activity appears as blue sections in the live strip, rolling one-hour chart, and Flow view without affecting stress averages or baseline learning. FIRST-USE CALIBRATION For the best initial baseline, launch Kymato while relaxed and remain seated quietly for about 12 to 15 minutes. The watch needs three clean two-minute sensing sessions, separated by three-minute rest periods. Wear the watch snugly, support your wrist, breathe normally, and avoid talking or significant movement. If practical, calibrate before exercise, caffeine, or a large meal. The learned baseline is stored and adapts gradually, so this process does not need to be repeated every day or after a normal app update. Everything runs locally on the watch. No account, phone companion, cloud service, or network connection is required. Designed for Pebble Time 2 (Emery). Enjoying Kymato? It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any condition. Readings can be affected by movement, watch fit, skin contact, caffeine, illness, temperature, and other factors.
