SUN HAS ALWAYS BEEN THE CLOCK
Watchmakers spent centuries innovating on form. Nobody thought to change how we measure time. Why 24 hours? Why does the hand go around the dial twice a day? Nobody has ever explained that convincingly. So I looked it up. And what I found made me want to start over.

Natural Time is a completely NEW and UNIVERSAL TIME CONVENTION. 
So simple you may wonder why this isn't the clock we invented in the first place ?

One rotation. 360 degrees. No time zones, no arbitrary slicing, no daylight saving nonsense. Just the real, continuous movement of the sun, shown on your wrist exactly as seen from where you stand. 0° at the bottom is true midnight. 180° at the top is solar noon.

The colored ring shows day and night as they actually happen at your location. Sunrise and sunset shift with the seasons. The moon shows its real position and phase. The moustaches in the center are Natural Time's clock signature : they mark the solstice extreme day and night durations.

ASTRONOMY ON YOUR WRIST

The Pebble Round screen was made for this. A circle. 360 degrees. It just fits. But circles can sometimes fit into squares: Pebble Time is also compatible.

All astronomy runs directly on the watch. Real sun position, real moon phase, real sunrise and sunset, computed from actual ephemeris data on a tiny e-paper processor. No server, no phone dependency. It took some stubbornness to fit that into a Pebble, but that was the whole point: your wrist tells you where the Earth actually is. Connect the phone app once to set your location, then forget about it.

WHY NATURAL TIME?

The conventional clock turned us into obedient assets, fixed hours, running on an abstraction nobody questions. Natural Time is what happens when you stop cheating with time and plug back into what's real. One rotation. One circle. The sun, the moon, and where you stand.

"Where is the sun?" becomes the new "What time is it?"
Look at the sky, look at your wrist. Same answer.
