This one is for the round watches.
- Now runs on the Pebble Time Round and the new Pebble Round 2, with every screen laid out for the circular display (touch on the Round 2, buttons on the Time Round).
- Error screens now use the standard Pebble warning icon.
- The round-setup hole step is now titled "Select holes".
- Round-watch fixes: the over/under-par badge is centered in its pill, the confirm message no longer gets cut off, and the resume flag is no longer clipped.
Pebble Golf now runs on three more Pebbles, and it speaks six languages.
- Now runs on Pebble Time and Time Steel, Pebble 2, and Pebble 2 Duo, not just the Pebble Time 2. Every screen, the scorecard, and the hole map were adapted to the smaller and black-and-white displays (the small watches are button-only).
- The whole app, watch and phone settings, is now translated into French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Portuguese. It follows your watch and phone language automatically, so there's nothing to set.
- Round Setup is now two steps (pick which holes, then your starting hole) so neither is cramped on the smaller screens.
The Pebble Time 2 hole map shows finer geometry now (about 50% more detail in the greens, bunkers, and fairways).
This one is all about the tees. The tee picker now lists tees shortest to longest, and when a tee is rated for both it shows the men's and women's course rating/slope side by side. Your chosen tee's colour now rides along as a small swatch next to the hole number on the hole screen, so a glance tells you which tees you're playing. Changing your tee mid-round drops you right back to the hole instead of the setup screen. And a stale-data glitch is fixed: quickly switching courses no longer briefly shows the previous course's tees
You can now start a full round right from the watch with no phone in sight: pick "Custom round," choose 9 or 18 holes, and enter par as you go. Getting to the hole map is quicker, just long-press UP from the hole view. Score entry now gives you a little haptic feedback when you start and when a hole saves, and tap-to-measure on the map is on by default. Plus tidied-up button hints across every screen and a few small visual fixes.
First stable release.
- Score keeping is now inline on the hole view. Press or tap a stat box to edit strokes/putts (and par on custom holes) in place, no separate screen.
- The yardage display is bigger and cleaner: a large center distance with front/back below it, anchored to the screen edges.
- Hole-map tap-to-measure that shows both the distance to your target and what's left to the green, and a live you-marker that tracks as you walk.
- Score entry: the distance-to-green now updates live as the GPS fix moves while the screen is open (it previously froze at its open-time value).
- Score entry: editing an already-scored hole no longer resets its strokes/putts to par (or zero). it now starts from the entered score.
- Score entry: larger center yardage and larger front/back numbers (small "F"/"B"
prefixes), with tightened spacing.
