🚆 Public transit support: Train rides in Google Maps now show on your watch, with a new train glyph in all three glyph packs, the number of stops remaining, your station and your arrival time.
New in the companion app (update it to get these):
- 🚶 Walking directions: walking routes now show every step, including the last stretch to your destination.
- 🛣️ Lane guidance: "Use the left lane…" instructions now show as keep left/right arrows instead of the previous step.
- 🕒 Steadier ETA: your arrival time stays on screen during turns instead of sisappearing.
- ⌚ Optional auto-launch: you can now turn off opening the watchapp automatically when navigation starts, handy with Android Auto or a car display. Thanks @ajlunis!
Update both the watchapp and the companion app (GitHub, F-Droid or Obtainium) for the full experience.

Please share your debug logs if you experience missing notifications with any of these apps or other navigation apps.
Also the mobile app has also been updated to encourage including street names in debug logs, as troubleshooting is very difficult without them. The option to share fully anonymized logs is still available, and these logs are also valuable for improving the app.
