Description

Sketchbook looks like someone drew a watch on a page of a notebook: big
outlined digits in a scribbled pen, a hand-lettered date, and a picture frame
traced twice around the edge. It's a nod to the 2014 classic Sketchy, rebuilt
for the Pebble Time 2's screen.

Two things set it apart. A chime: a Casio-style double beep, vibration, or
both, every hour, half hour or quarter hour, with quiet hours and three
volume levels, measured from a real F-91W (two 4096 Hz beeps). And a death
watch: give it your birthday and a life expectancy and it counts down what's
statistically left, in years, months, weeks, days, minutes or as a date, next
to a small skull. When the chime rings, a big skull is sketched in stroke by
stroke with the countdown underneath. Both are off by default, naturally.

Everything else is optional too, and configured from the phone:

• Weather — temperature and a little doodle (sun, cloud, rain, snow, storm,
  fog) from Open-Meteo. No account, no API key. °C, °F, or follow your phone.
• Heart rate — the latest reading from the wrist sensor.
• Battery and steps — a hatched battery that visibly drains, and today's steps.
• Weekday in the date, 12- or 24-hour time (or follow the watch), optional
  seconds with the digits shrinking to fit.
• Paper — white, black, or black after sunset using the real sunrise and
  sunset for where you are.
• Status doodles — a bell while the chime is on, a moon during Quiet Time, a
  crossed-out phone when Bluetooth drops (optional vibe).

Everything is drawn on the watch with lines, not bitmaps, so it stays crisp
in both paper colours. Settings live on the watch and on the phone, so a
reinstall keeps them.
