Slides of Time inspired watch-face made exactly for my use-case: An efficient watch-face without animations and less battery usage.

Differences to Slides of Time

- No startup animation: Getting back to the watch-face (for example from notifications) instantly shows the current time. Slides of time seems to show the startup animation to hide the time until the temperature is fetched?
- Heart rate
- First and last line less cropped so they are more easily readable

As there was no source code of the slides of time project easily accessible I created this watch-face from scratch.

This watch-face should support all currently (2026) available pebble models from the originals to the Pebble 2 Duo, Time 2 and Round 2.

Information shown

The information on the watch-face are hard coded without configuration options. This reduced the complexity of the code and will be executed faster. (As it is quite simple it should also be relatively easy to fork and adapt to your needs.)

First row: When there is a heart rate sensor and data available (low quality filtered out by the SDK), the first digit shows the weekday, the following 3 digits show the heart rate. For example: 6093 is the 6th weekday (Saturday) with a heart rate of 093 bpm. When there is no data available it shows the year (currently 2026).

Second row: day and month. 1209 is the 12th September.

Third row: hour and time, uses 24h or 12h style based on the system settings. 1422 is 14:22.

Fourth row: battery and outdoor temperature at the phones approximated GPS position. 7918 would be 79% battery and 18°C. The phones GPS position is rounded to one digit (54.822402 9.489578 is rounded to 54.8 9.5) before queried at https://open-meteo.com/ . When there is no temperature yet (still on request or no/bad connection to the phone/internet) there is a random number displayed starting at 60 so it's way higher than a normal temperature.

Fifth row: Steps with the last digit cut off. 4252 steps are shown as 0425. This allows for more than 10000 steps on a day. When there are no steps available a random number is shown.
