Description

TopoLocal draws contour lines from the terrain around your phone on Pebble Time 2 and Pebble 2 Duo. Choose updates every 15, 30 or 60 minutes. Inspired by the Topographic watchface.

Pick Compact, Halo, Atlas or Stack, with five fonts including LECO. Time 2 has ten themes and custom colors; Duo has Dark and Light. Give the time a close-fitting panel, halo or hollow digits.

Show a date in six formats, temperature in °C/°F or today's steps from Pebble Health. Step totals stay on your watch. Shake to switch date/temperature or steps/temperature. Choose 12/24-hour time with AM/PM.

Keep contours uniform or make every fifth line bold; Time 2 also offers color contrast. Atlas shows distance and contour spacing. Choose automatic map width or 2, 5, 10 or 20 km, plus contour density.

Time 2 has an optional experimental compass: shake to rotate the map for 12 seconds. Duo stays north-up. Physical compass accuracy and battery use remain unverified.

Preview and refresh the map in settings. Failed updates keep the previous map. An offline copy keeps terrain visible after reopening, sometimes with less detail until the phone reconnects. Flat areas may have few lines.

New map/weather data needs a paired phone, location permission and internet. Android tested; iOS unverified. Free, with no ads, account or API key.
