Swipr allows students to view their CBORD/GET Funds meal plan balances on their smart watches. Currently it is only available for Dartmouth students, but we will soon be updating the app to support other schools.

Up Down is a simple game that randomly picks a direction, up or down. You must push the corresponding button within the time interval or you lose. If you press the wrong button, you'll lose as well. The game gets faster as you progress, and the time interval resets to a lower initial time every 50 points.

Webtron Weather is a simple watchapp that will detect your location and give you a simple 3 day outlook.
Middle click on any of the days and get a detailed look at that days weather.

Keeps your phone on a tight leash.  

The app runs as a background app, monitoring the bluetooth connection to your phone. If the bluetooth connection is lost, it will buzz you, and keep on buzzing you until the connection is re-established.  

When the connection is first lost, the alert will repeat every 30 seconds, but an interface is presented for you to make this less frequent, or to turn it off altogether.  In any case the alert frequency resets to 30 seconds next time the connection is lost.

This approach means you can be sure of not missing the alert, but you can decide not to go back and get your phone immediately, while still keeping an occasional reminder so you don't forget entirely, and without the possibility that you forget to turn it on again.

When the connection is re-established you are presented with the option to make the phone make a sound to help you locate it.  I suspect this probably only works on android phones, but I don't have an iphone to test that.

RATIONALE

I Have ADHD.  Without external prompting for when I need to do things, I have very little chance of remembering those things at the time when I need to do them.  My phone is an excellent tool for this, and it's larger interface makes it a better tool than a smart watch in most respects, but every so often my phone fails me.  It falls out of my pocket somewhere, or I leave it in the car, or the battery runs flat.  The one thing my phone can't ever do is alert me to its' own absence.

I also have poor eyesight.  So far as possible i want this app to be usable without reaching for my glasses.  I'm developing for Emery first (Pebble Time 2), and aiming to make icons and colors do the work of conveying information.  On platforms where I haven't made the graphics, the app falls back to text display elements.

PLATFORM SUPPORT

This app is tested on a Pebble Time 2, and on emulators for Pebble Duo and Pebble Round 2.  I expect it will work on older models but haven't tested it - let me know if there are issues there.

Careportal Watchapp For Nightscout Websites Version 9 and above

An educational orbital-geometry watchapp for Pebble Time 2. Constellation propagates public CelesTrak GP/TLE element sets with SGP4 to plot modeled GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, and BeiDou positions. It is not a GNSS receiver: it does not receive satellite signals, produce a navigation fix, or estimate real-world positioning accuracy. TLE elements do not include an accuracy estimate.

FOUR VIEWS
• Orbit globe: modeled satellite positions; orbital-plane rings are schematic guides, not fitted to the TLEs.
• Skyplot: modeled azimuth and elevation from the selected center. Bars show elevation only, not signal strength.
• Geometry: DOP derived from modeled directions; singular or insufficient geometry displays N/A. DOP describes geometry, not position accuracy.
• World map: simplified coastlines, selected center, and modeled sub-satellite points; no reception-radius circle.

Phone coordinates are used on-device and are not sent to CelesTrak. Choose phone location or validated manual coordinates. A location failure is shown without a substitute location. TLE age is displayed; fresh elements require internet access. Cached elements can be viewed offline.
